Grain Place Favorite Five™ Bars
A breakfast/energy/nutrition bar
Mix together in mixer bowl:
- 2 ½ C GPF Favorite Five™
- 1/3 C chopped raisins (or other dried fruit of your choice)
- ¼ C GPF chia seeds
- 1/3 C GPF sunflower kernels
In separate bowl, mix together:
- 1 ¼ C nut butter (peanut or almond or cashew)
- 3 T brown sugar
- ½ C honey (or brown rice syrup, barley malt syrup, etc.)
- 2 t vanilla
Instructions:
- Add second mixture to first and mix together well with electric mixer.
- Using large spatula, press mixture firmly into 10 ½” x 8” x 2” or similar-sized shallow pan.
- Cover with foil and place in freezer one hour. Cut into small squares and store in the fridge.
