Oats
Oats is a hardy cereal grain able to withstand poorer soil conditions than many other crops. Grown throughout the world, oats has been an important food for people and livestock for hundreds of years. The perfect hot breakfast cereal, oatmeal is also widely used in baking, as a filler in dishes like meatloaf, and in many prepared cereals. Oats surpasses other cereal grains including wheat, barley, corn and wheat in protein and several other nutrients, and its fiber content – especially the soluble fiber beta glucan – is recognized for lowering blood cholesterol.
Grain Place Foods offers the following Oats products:
- Rolled Oats
- Hi-Fi®; Rolled Oats
